This card is for my husband for our 1st & 2nd anniversaries this weekend, since we "missed" our 1st anniversary last year. (We spent it in the E.R. [twice] and then with me being admitted and hospitalized for a week... ugh!). The square embossed "love" card base is the card base I used to make our wedding invitations. (I saved several card bases to use for special anniversaries later.) In this version, I rubbed Mellow Moss ink over the embossed areas of the card. Then I edged the corners with Baroque Burgundy ink.
I stamped the scroll heart in Baroque Burgundy ink on white cardstock and cut it out with deckle-edged scissors. I added 7 platinum half-pearls (in 3 different sizes) to the scroll heart and then adhered it to the center of the card with thick dimensional foam tape to make it stand out.
