Anne, what a wonderful selection of scrappigramma2, a/k/a Grace, as Queen for the Day! I've been a fan of her gallery for quite some time. Her creations are so full of beautiful details. I had to chose one of her easier cards unfortunately as I don't think I could have mastered the others. Grace has been a most encouraging stamper on SCS and has produced some of the finest creations too.
The card was so cute I didn't want to change it up much. I just changed the dp, used a different bird, a different leaf/flower/brad combo and sentiment. I also added a nestie framing for my image and a punched border for the rectangular panel. Used a touch of glitter on the underside of the bird and on the framing of the image panel. Popped the image, mat, sentiment and first layer on dimensional.
The card didn't photograph too well, but I tried my best.
Grace, please enjoy your special day and week and I hope that crown doesn't make you topple over!!
Thanks for stopping by to look and I'll be back this evening, I hope, to comment on the Queenie cards.

Pam this is really a lovely card.. and glad you keep those punches well oiled etc... I love mine too.. way too many, but not really... I love the saying on this card.. it is what I feel about so many of the gals on SCS... it is like a family... and when you don't see someone for a few days you wonder what has happened... maybe they are just sitting in the corner eating Ice cream... WOW... what a delight that would be huh????
Love your card in all seriousness.. the brown polkadot is stunning... have a great week-end.

Pamzi, with this gorgeous bird, it must be mine. You know, birthday and all. I know you know I love birds. And, DOTS...yep, it's mine. LOL I love it, mine or not. You know another thing I really like about this beauty is the leaves stamped on the sides of the nestie. Those leaves remind me so much of the gorgeous cards Reddyisco makes. What a beautiful flower and yummy corduroy button and leaves. I am sure Grace will adore it and I suppose you are sending it to her. O.K., I sure can't blame you for that. I am sure we both love it.

Awww Pam you did justice to Grace's card indeed! I love the chocolate colours, and that bird from the Touch of nature is one of my fave and Grace's little pudgy one is sweet too, might become another fave. LOL
Beautifuly cased, with the heart I see and a few punches! TFS my friend.

Pamzi, this is beautiful. You have quite a lovely style, madame! I like the softly layered foliage behind the bird image. This is a set I own, too, and would never part with it.

Fruitcake, if you were going to have a gallon of ice cream, the least you could have done would have been to invite me to join you. It's always interesting when you see how different cards look with different papers. You've cased Grace's card to perfection, fruitcake. With just a change in colors, you have your own Grace original. I'm really lovin' what you're doing over there when you try hard to stay focused! Look what's happening!
