Julia gave us the challenge of using paint today on our cards. I used a design panel by Hampton Arts that lays down the bg color. I really like using the Adirondack dauber acrylic paints for this type of stamp. I put the acrylic on the stamp face and then "off stamp" it two times to get this lighter, mottled bg.
The butterflies pop-up from the base, but I guess I didn't photograph it from a very good angle to capture that! : (

Wow Sallie...this card has so many dimensions to it! The background paper looks like alligator skin...i love it and the sheen on it! The painting on the flutterbyes is stunning! The spirals just typify the butterfly so precisely...and the gold...sure don't know how you got all that in! I love even that little tad of blue touch at the base of the main card. It is exquisite! Thank you so much for sharing this...it makes me want to soar! LOVING GOD. Samara
