Okay, so I'm making this dessert last night. I bought all the ingredients, but failed to notice the recipe was for "two" pies. I only bought one crust. Oh well. So I halved all the ingredients which left me with left over sweetened condensed milk.
Then a bell went off in my head, so to speak. I remembered a technique my Sister told me about where you use sweetened condensed milk to stamp with. So I did. Only problem was I didn't quite remember all the steps but it turned out anyway, I think. hehe You be the judge......details.....
Last night I brushed my Rubbernecker Stamps tree image then stamped it on white cs. Re-loaded and did it twice more.
Took my heat gun and heated it up. The longer you heat it, the darker it gets. This is where I left off a step. Before heating you were to add a "pinch" of walnut stain ep. Didn't have any of that anyway so good thing I forgot this part.
After heating, it still felt tacky so then I clear ep'd it. Masked off the top and sponged the ground with forest moss, reversed the mask and sponged the sky broken china. Layered this with black cs.
On a black card, I put panel 1-a & b which was cut out of my new Graphic 45 dp. Sponged the edges with rusty hinge, my new favorite color.
Added the green ribbon before putting everything on the black card. Sheesh, my typing always gets ahead of my brain. hehe
Also added a flower that I put some gold stickles on, a button heart and two small round buttons.
Since I have more of the sweetened condensed milk left over, I definitely will be trying this again. Oh yeah, will be tasting the dessert tonight. After licking the bowl, I think it will be delicious! It was called Freezer Caramel Drizzle Pie. Had to freeze over night.
Well, hope you like my card. Thanks Rox for a great sketch!.....TFL :0)
Hi Sis! Will be sending you the recipe soon.

Graphic 45........ are you certain that Connie Jo is your sister, not Annie Jo??? I understand that Graphic 45 paper * speaks* to Anne. Me think she is into the booze again, if paper is speaking to her!!! I do agree that Graphic 45 is gorgeous paper - but really, Cathy -does you paper SPEAK to you??? I thought not!!!!! Gorgeous trees against the sky!!
Talk about recipe errors!!! Once I made shortbread and I accidently doubled the butter!! So unusual for a 9999 IQ person like myself. I was shocked to see my shortbread turning into puddle of butter on the bottem of the oven. Sad day!!!

Your goof turned out beautifully. I love how it changes colors. This tree image is so cool. I guess I did not see it when I was there or I would have stamped some images. Love the Graphic 45. I am so happy I introduced it to you. I wish I had a store that carried all the paper your store did. Love your card. tfs.
