I love making these Tri-Shutter cards. The fun part is decorating each panel. I personalized this one by adding the full name of the young lady and using her school colors. I got the 2010 paper in the center panel at Archiver's and ran it through the Cuttlebug and then added Stickles to the swirls. I colored the large chipboard key with a blue sharpie marker and finished it off with clear embossing powder. I stamped Congratulations on clear acetate and backed it with another panel cut the same size from glitter paper. I made a money pocket from clear vellum to insert the $50 bill. Spirelli - The oval nestie on the front of the card was wrapped with blue metallic thread.
There is a great tutorial here on SCS in the resources section to make these Tri-Shutter Cards. Give it a try. It 's lots of fun.
Thanks for stopping by.

Liked the elements on each panel as I am always at a loss for them. Also like spirelli and never remember to use it so I end up bookmarking most things with that on it. As an added bonus blue and white were my school colors both in HS and college so I'm drawn to that in graduation cards.

Wowwie-Zowwie! This is some special card!! I've done a few tri-shutter cards and find it's a lot of work to find something just the right size/shape and meaning to put on each panel. You did a bang-up job!! May I ask, what is Spirelli? I've never heard of the term. Thanks for sharing such a special creation; I'll bet the graduate was delighted.
What a fantastic card! Decorating each panel does seem like it would be tons of fun! I can think of all kinds of occasions it would be great for! Thanks for the inspiration!
