I was trying to be inventive and decided to try using the spotlighting technique with an embossed image, instead of a stamped image. To "spotlight" the part of the embossed image, I simply swiped the piece over my inkpad.
The added part of the challenge was to use white and one other colour only (not another neutral).
Would love to know what you think.

What a great idea. Love the idea of spotlighting with the embossed folders. The manhattan flower is one of my favorite embossing folder and you did a lovely job here. And this gives me another way to use that embossing folder.
You rock. Thanks for sharing.

Oh, I'm so glad you had your example up. I am feeling sluggish because of our excessive heat and humidity (always complaining, I know), and I don't think I would have been able to figure it out.
I love the idea of using the color on the embossed image, with no color in the bg. Thanks for putting your creative genius through it's paces.
