Hi! This card was made for today's Clean and Simple Challenge: Think Summer. And, I also made it for this week's Speedy's Friends Challenge!
Whew! We're back from the Stampin' Techniques Retreat...I'm, EXHAUSTED! However, I'm not too exhausted to stamp! LOL I had so much fun!
When I think about summer, I think of my garden. So, this image was PERFECT for today's challenge! I stamped the image in Adirondack Espresso onto Wonderful Watercolor Paper and used Pearlescent watercolors and an aqua painter to color it. I added in a few Memento Marker and Inkssentials Pen Highlights and cut it out.
Finished card size: 5 1/2" x 4 1/4"
Total time to create card: 18 minutes

That's pretty much what I think about when I think about summer - flowers, and my garden. A nicely colored carnation. I'm glad your retreat went well; I was thinking about you.

I love the flower and realistic looking butterfly.
