Just finished the envelope for this card for my Mom. Tomorrow is her Birthday and I made this card for her. Red is her favorite color. When I found out what an intense result you could get with Rangers Brick Red Distress Ink I knew I had to do this Fred She Said image for her.
I was lucky enough about a month ago to walk into Micheal's and find all the Martha Stewart spring punches on sale for less than half price. So I picked up three and this Tulip Border is one of them. Isn't this the cutest thing with this image. I also had the cuttlebug corner die in my stash that has a tulip flower in the middle that matched this perfectly. I used crystal effects on the picture to give it a porcelain look and I outline everything in diamond stickles for glitz and glam. I also attached really tiny pearls on that picture that holds the tulips. I know my Mom will be hanging this on a wall that she has going with all the cards I have sent her...she cracks me up!!!

Now, I have to get over to Fred She Said for that beautiful digi. Tulips are my favorite flower of all time. What a lucky mom she is to have you for a daughter. I see why she hangs all your cards...who wouldn't? And that awesome envie, too. I love your tulip punch, of course. Punch away, Bearzi. Enjoy your vacation.

Wow, Bearzi, you did good - real good my punchkateering exercise buddy. I haven't been able to comment on our thread about you, but I understand you just finished you classes with great marks. I have to go back and read. I just wanted to congratulate you. Boy, I can see why your Mom hangs your cards up - I'd frame every one and have them insured as fine art in case of theft or weather damage or whatever. Maybe we can get one into The Smithsonian!!!! Such beautiful colors, details, sparkle, dimension, texture, punchez, sewing - need I go on and on and on!! You are one awesome cardmaker Bearzi and that matching envie fills me with "envy"!! LOL!! Great job!! TFS!

Looks like you may want to make a card like this for Benzi's BD! I love the colors and images you used. Those corner frames are awesome too!

Bearzi!!! What an adorable tulip border punch you found--and such a great bargain, at that. Super work!! I love how you matched up your cuttlebug corner die with your tulip theme, as well. Your intense reds and gorgeous tulip theme should really help make your Mom's birthday her happiest ever. Great work, Punchkateer Bearzi!!!
