When strawberries hit the market, that is the first sign of Summer. I could not resist making a card with this very adorable Fred She Said image called Emma with Strawberries. I really had loads of fun putting this together. I used Rangers Distress Brick Red Ink to do all these Strawberries. I made them 3 dimensional by popping up the largest one on pop dots. I then covered the whole image with crystal effects and outlined the strawberries in diamond stickles. IRL this looks awesome and the strawberries look so real! I also put the crystal effects on the strawberries in Emma's Basket.
What you are seeing here is the card and envelope I created with the 6 x 6 kit from Priscillastyles. On the inside of the card I made a pocket and recipe tags with three recipes-Strawberry Jam (I just made a batch last weekend), Strawberry Chiffon Pie (My favorite all time pie ever!), and Strawberry Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting (need I say more!). You can view the inside of this card at my blog if you would like to catch a glimpse.
Thank you for stopping by today. Now that your mouth is probably salivating thinking of nice big juicy strawberries.....go pick some at your local farmers market and make some scrumptious jam. I will post my recipe if you are interested on my blog. Just leave me a comment and I will do it later today!

Look at those plump, juicy strawberries. I have been known to go to the local strawberry patch and pick them myself. Oh, so yummy! Your card is the most darling thing with the adorable image, along with that beautiful envie. I'm just trying to figure out how you get so much done with school, DT, making strawberry jam, on and on. You are a wonder woman! I love your awesome creation!!!

OMG, I have to run to the farmer's market RIGHT NOW!! Look at those YUMMY strawberries and they look like you could touch them and, yes, EAT THEM TOO!!! Bearzi, I just don't know what other adjectives to use with your cards any more. I think I've used them all in my limited IQ arena!! I will say that the layers, textures and details on your cards defy imagination. I can't figure out how you can use that many things on one card - it boggles my lil' ole low IQ mind!!! But, I'm sure MS 9999 IQ Brainzi has figured it out and now she's QUEEN for the day - Gosh, she will be bragging from now till 4-ever!! Wonderful work Bearzi. A true piece of art!! TFS!

Yes, my mouth IS watering now--you made those strawberries look so realistically yummy!! This is the sweetest card, ever. Our locally grown strawberries won't be ready to pick until mid-June (so another 3 or so weeks of agonizing waiting!!), but as soon as our local farm posts pick-your-own signs, we will be heading out to the fields. We'll pick enough to eat fresh for a few days and freeze the rest for a little bit of summer in the dead of winter. Yum!! And if I'm persuaded, I'll make a fresh strawberry pie. My kids don't like pie (can't imagine what's wrong with them!!), but means all the more for my husband and me to eat Thanks for the reminder that your lovely card gave me that fresh berries are just around the corner!!
