Even though I started fresh with the stamped image, this was really a reclamation project! The card base is Bazzill ivory linen texture. The green Cuttlebugged layer was embossed with the leaf folder, sanded a little on the upper surfaces and then outlined in gold on the embossed edges. (This piece of Wild Wasabi was embossed when Wasabi was still an *In Color.*)
I love this piece of turquoise and gold brocade from The Paper Store for Layer #2. Layer #3, the main image, is from SU! Oriental Paintings from 2001. It was colored with markers and pencils. The rich gold matte used to be a wedding invitation. (I save everything and it's all on my table.)
Layer #4 was a sticker frame from an old K & Co. set of stickers. The acetate is made from the backing of my pain patch, that I need for chronic pain and various ailments. My patch got changed today, so I had a ready suppy for cutting. I used an SU! rub-on for my sentiment. A few Crystal Stickers from Mark Richards and my creation was done!
I really enjoyed making this card that my Daddy will receive! (I was born on Father's Day and am the first of 5 children, so I have a special place in my Dad's heart!) Just kidding, Sibs! LOL!!!
Hope you like this card! Thanks for looking!!! ~Chrysi~

I just love the whole look of this. Asian is a style I like. And I like your clear sentiment - I've done that a few times when I couldn't bring myself to cover up whatever was underneath. Sorry that your source is pain meds, but it certainly looks great!
