I have had this card for a while. I made it for the most wonderful and Godly woman I had the chance to know and love. She was my Mother-in-Law, and she went to be with the Lord two days before her birthday. This card would have been for her Special Day. I wanted to make a card full of beauty, like her.
I wanted to make a collage style card for her. I had a 2 foot high gift bag covered with all different types of flowers. I cut each individual flower out that I wanted out. (I still have some!) I stamped some flowers and leaves on the card. Used dimensional tape to add different curves to the flowers. I use flower stickers. I made a giant sunflower in the center of the card. The middle is covered with sunflower seed shells. I think it was beautiful. It was definately full of love.
Thank you for letting me share it with each of you. She would be so proud of me, and pleased for me, to have made friends here at SCS. She would have loved all of you, too!

Traci~ This makes me smile to see the love have for your MIL. How sad that she is gone now, but knowing she rests in the arms of Jesus really takes some of that sting away! This happy and thoughtful card would have blessed her so much, thanks for sharing with us. Hugs....
