Ever since the Teapotters had their "rap session on the farm" a few weeks ago, these critters have been practicing to get their sound down perfect. They're waaaaaayyyyyy late to the party but what the heck, they sound really good!
Had this card swirling around in my head ever since that rappin' teaparty but when I saw these Fun on the Farm melamine dishes on the Two Lumps of Sugar website for last Friday's Inspiration challenge I had to put it together. Now I've got the song "All God's Critters" in my head.
I printed the barn, the animals and the background sky/grass on watercolour paper then cut the whole works out - oh for fancy punches that could have saved me all that fussy-cutting. (The animals and barn are from a digital kit appropriately called Barnyard Dance by Kay Miller Designs.) Sentiment is computer generated.
Now for one further challenge - last week the StampinB challenge was hosted by dear sweet Benzi. Even though she doesn't know how to find her way to the Post Office, I thought I make a card for the challenge which was to include a food or drink on your card. Now the StampinB website very clearly states they have NO RULES, so I don't think I'm pushing the boundaries TOO MUCH by saying that (without endangering the lives of any of the members of this group of musical animals) there is an abundance of food to be found here - milk, cheese, eggs, cream, the makings for ice cream... You get the idea!
So, as always, I'm late to the party but had fun making this crazy little barnyard scene.
Punch tally: 2 circle punches on the outside (plus a bunch more on the inside as I punched out the entire chorus of the song on circles).

OMG, Izzy, Da Dizzy, or whatever your punchkateer name is(knowing you have several), this is the most adorable little barnyard. I love all those sweet critters, (of course, you know I am partial to Baa Baa's) and we'll just let all these little animals be safe over at the StampinB. Fun choice but your link didn't work for your inspiration. I'll just take your word for it, though. You were really doing some scissor work on this one and it just turned out soooooo adorable. Oh, if you had not left your mailbox to go on that last trip, you would not have had to have printed, cut, printed, cut and ruined those little fingers. The punches, I am sure, arrived at that time. Stay home!!!!!! LOL Love your cutest evah card!!!

Oh my goodness barnyard, what do we have here Da Dizzy? Girl, you are making up all the time you have spent away with this one and nailing 2 challenges while at it, not to mention honoring our precious Benzi. Did I say "precious Benzi". I really must go to the shrink on that one! I LOVE your barnyard animals that I'm glad to see Benzi says won't be used for food, and I can't believe all the time you took to cut out these animals. Gosh, why can't there be a perfect punch that fits each of these animals??? I hate cutting!! LOVE the musical notes, the song, it's got it ALL Diz. Now, about that mailbox thing, you know your punchez were probably stolen by someone when you were AWAY as I'm just sure Benz had to have sent you at least 1 by now!!! I'm with Benz, STAY HOME!! Wonderful, fun and creative creation Diz!! TFS!
