-The scene was sponged with two colors of pink and then stamped.
-I used Nestabilites to make the frame. I lined up both dies on the paper and secured with repositional tape, cut and embossed. I cut a second smaller piece to act as an inside mat to the first and because Nestabilities do not graduate down/up in even measurements I repositioned the die down about 1/16” keeping the sides even as the first cut and cut again.
If ever your measurements arenÂ’t all around exact when making this type of mat the larger area should always go at the bottom; I learned that in a mat cutting class and I thought it made a perfect space for my bards.
-To raise the frame up higher than the scene level on the card I mounted with a couple layers of thick cardstock. I thought this helped the frame hold its shape and also didnÂ’t allow the edges of the scene to show because it was not as high as my foam tape would be.
-The inside mat was embellished with Glitter Glue and I also added just a touch to the berries using a corsage pin.
-The Martha Stewart butterflies are attached with AleeneÂ’s tacky glue.
Tools: Nestabilities – rectangles, Martha Stewart butterfly punch, corsage pin, sponge, Stampin mat pack and Bazzill piercer for brad placement, stamp positioner for sentiment placement
