Hi! I made this card for today's CAS challenge: shabby chic! When I think of shabby chic, I think of antiques, distressing and romance. Hmmm.... how could I combine all of those into a card, no less a CAS card!!
Well, I reached for my collage items drawer, where I have all sorts of vintage things. While routing around in there, I came across some pages of stickers that I acquired from Stamp Francisco and Alpha Arts. All of them have a vintage feel, and they are images of beautiful women, dancers or fairies. I thought that the one of Harlequin and his partner dancing were perfect since I remembered I had an argyle ef which would add interest to the front of the card without adding embellishments or extra layers.
Sooo... I cut out the image, sanded and used my distresser on the edges, then mounted it on black glossy cs. I used the argyle ef on the card front, cut a line in the folded edge to get my ribbon through, added the sentiment (which I punched out from another sheet of images), and the card was finished!
Tfl, and have a dreamy day!

Gail, this is fabulous! In my mind, "shabby chic" and CAS just don't go together....BUT you proved me wrong in a BIG way! Love your card. It is PERFECT!
