This is for the "Its in the spotlight challenge," and while I was doing it realize if I distressed it for 1/13/10 Edge distresser challenge, it would even look better. So here is DH father's day card inspired by both challenges. Thank you Julia and Silvia! Great challenges! I didn't have a distresser, so I used my fingernail. This is first time I have tried distressing. But it just seemed to go with this card! What do you think? Did I do it right? Thank you for looking!

And since this was favorited 2 times already and they didn't take the time to comment, me thinks I need to come back to comment again. Very creative use of the spotlight technique!

The distressing sure did add to the card. I love the spotlight in yellow because it looks like the beam is shining.
