Well, my sister made it! I took her to work with me today. I have never seen anyone brush a pool while carrying a rather large purse. Seems she thinks we have thieves just waiting to snatch it out of my truck. Told her I could lock it, but she felt safer with it on her arm. hehe……..Any way, tomorrow the wedding will be taking place on the shores of Lake Tahoe. This is going to be such an exciting day! SO I needed to “relax” a little and making a card is one of the ways to achieve that. So I quickly threw this card together.
It is a case of hotwheels card here: She was chosen for the Queen for the Day 09 challenge. Congrats Linda! Hope you have a fun filled day and weekend!......briefly the cardÂ…Â…
Stamped some Rubbernecker flowers and vines inking them up with Marvy markers. Huffed then stamped. Traced them with a versa mark pen, not to well either, then clear ep. Sponged Distress Ink broken china over top. Added some dots with white acrylic paint.
Layered with white cs sponged citrus. Then put on a white card sponge sunset orange. Oh yeah, used a SU corner punch like Linda used.
Printed the sentiment on the computer, layered, popping it up and sponging with the above colors. Added a little bow tied with the bow easy. You will probably be seeing a lot of this ribbon as I have some left over from DDÂ’s wedding favors. Yikes! Tomorrow is the wedding. What am I doing here?....oh yeah, relaxing!... AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Must run, hope you like this. Will be back in a few. TFL :0)
Hi Sis! Â…Â…..sheÂ’s sitting right by meÂ…Â…with her purse! hehe

You would be the last person in the gallery I would expect to see, Russian Spy. You're something, I'll give you that. I'm not too sure Jessica would be cool with your need to relax before her big day, but I trust you have everything under control. YOu know that sister of your's is totally amazing. Everyone knows damn well she doesnt have 2 nickels, yet she's got to carry her bag w/her at all times. From my experience, and I do hopeyou share this with her is: ladies with limited cognition or recognition of what's real and what's not real always have their handbags with them. Just like your sister, they too never have anything in theirs either. So glad she's there. Have just the greatest day ever tomorrow.

Well, I trust Connie still has her purse....I know how she feels though, can't trust those Californians, I know some Butnik gal, she'll steal the clothes right off your back if you're not careful. LOL LOL
Aww, so I do hope everything goes smoothly tomorrow. You have got to be walking on air right now, or just beside yourself...oh no, that's Connie right. LOL
Very thoughtful of you to make a card for Linda today.
I hope to get to see a picture somehow of the happy couple. TFS and Hug yourself and Connie for me. Have fun sistahs!

Hi, Cathy, you goofy girl! Thanks for the giggles with your "relaxation" story and ConnieJo's cleaning the pool while carrying her purse. You must be so excited for the wedding tomorrow and being able to spend quality time with your sister.
I'm glad you found some time to relax and stamp and bring this vividly colorful floral delight our way!
Can't wait to hear about the wedding and maybe see some pics???
