This sure was an interesting sketch to use. With all the graduations coming up, I thought it would be good to have a few made up. I love being able to customize them and while this one is more masculine, change the colors and uncover the butterflies at the bottom of the image and it's a different look.
For the main image and greeting, I sponged the gold ink onto ivory c/s then stamped the images with the chocolate ink. The greeting was cut using a Spellbinders square nestie. I punched a length of fence and used it as a stencil for the horizontal band and sponged the chocolate and ginger inks over it. I used the now brown fence as a border for my greeting.
The large brown panel was embossed with the leafy branch folder and highlighted with the gold ink. Narrow sponged gold bands were added at the top and bottom. The ivory bg was embossed with the QK stripes label and the other layers were attached. Two faux brads were added in the upper right corner.
Thanks so much for looking! My blog:The Write Stuff. Sorry! I had to delete a bunch of really old posts from my blog & this is one of them.

This is a really gorgeous graduation card, Julie! I love all the textures, and the beautiful stamp from ODB. Great grad card with a masculine feel. I LOVE it!
