This is the card I made for my Mom for Mother's Day, and this is my very First attempt at making an easel card. I loved making the easel card so much, that I made another one for my Mother-in-Law, I just know she'll love it
I made the tulips blue just for something different, because my Mom isn't a "pink" kind of lady
Because this was my first easel card, it did take me a couple of days to make it, but I like the results, although I may tweek things a bit on the next one
I tried the "Cracked Glass" technique, here on SCS. But I liked it with out the cracked glass look, so I kept it thick and glossy, with out the crackles.

I recently received several stamped images of this wonderful basket of tulips from a fellow SCSer. Made one card with it - and, quite ironically, I used the cracked glass technique on it! I was scouring the gallery today looking for different ways that people have coloured this image and came across your card. Well done! Love your easel card - the punched border behind the image is great.
