This card is for IC231. Check out Huset for inspiration!
I went with the pattern of this Lisa Bengtsson Baronessa Pillow for my inspiration. It was just what I needed for a card that I wanted to make using the new Basic Grey Capella DP!
I created the ruffle using my crimper and a strip of Capella DP (very cool because it was already "distressed" around the edge!). The curly gold scrolling is (are?) peel-offs. I finished off the card with a fabulous Prima Rose that is seriously sparkly IRL!!
The sentiment is stamped twice in Walnut stain and black to carry the vintage flavor. I highlighted it with a little white gel pen ink.
Hope you can play along this weekend!
p.s. All the how to's, where froms, and pics are on my blog! Come see!

Anne, this card is so beautiful! I love the fabric you chose to case, and the ruffle and gold are perfect with it. That rose is so sparkly. What an awesome combination!! Have a wonderful Mother's Day, my sweet friend. Hugs to you!
