A co-worker asked that I make a Mother's Day card for her to give to her sister, so this is what I came up with. I tell you, though, it was hard to give this one up! I love it!! LOL...
This layout (like my last several cards lately) came from the June 2010 Scrapbooks Etc. magazine on page 64. This took no time at all to make but it really makes a statement.
It's a Pretty In Pink card base followed by a layer of Sending Love Specialty dsp, which was distressed a bit and the corners rounded. I layered a scalloped strip of Chocolate Chip cs on the right side of a Textured Very Vanilla piece and stamped the sentiment with Basic Black. I used my Big Shot and the Beautiful Wings Embosslit with another piece of Sending Love Specialty dsp for the big butterfly. A Real Red epoxy brad is holding the butterfly to card through the Very Vanilla layer.

Oh, what a delightful MD card Regina. I'm SO in LOVE with that dsp and you layout is awesome!! Love that matching brad and who can't love that b/fly!! TFS!
