Here's my card for Betty's awesome Color Challenge yesterday. I also went with her dessert option of using clear cardstock or acetate. See that polka-dot acetate on the Lovely Lilac layer? Forums at Splitcoaststampers She's helping us to use up some soon-to-be-retiring SU colors. The key for me when using this bright combo of colors is to back it with black. What do you think?
I got this great layout from the June 2010 Scrapbooks Etc. magazine. Isn't it great?! I started by running Cameo Coral, Gable Green and Lovely Lilac cardstock through my Big Shot with SU's new Square Lattice Embossing Folder. I adhered the Coral and Gable ones to the Basic Black card base with glue and the Lilac one with Dimensionals. I adhered the acetate with a spot glue, which is hidden behind the circle sentiment layers. Finally, I wrapped the card with Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon and a Mini Library Clip and Twine to the sentiment.
