I made eleven of these cards and will keep one to use for myself and ten for the soldier box, so they have cards to send back home.
-First step is to cut a mask from sticky notes for the bears, stamp the image and mask it off. Secure the panel with repositional tape to a piece of paper which is secured to the work surface.
-Tear a piece of paper about ½” wider than the width of the image panel and place it over the bear mask to cover the snow area. Once again I secure with tape.
-Using a brayer and starting the roll off the top of the panel - roll on the lightest grey, darkest grey and then the black keeping each color a bit higher than the last until the brayer is near empty with the last application, then I brought the black down further to create the haze. My black is Stampin Up Basic Black which actually goes on purple on the 80% glossy cardstock I used. You could also use regular cardstock and get good results with the brayer.
-Stamp on the dots for snowflakes.
-Remove the mask covering the snow and lightly sponge on the lightest color grey.
-Remove the bear mask and water color the shadows of the bears with re-inkers and artist brush.
-Punch the moon from glitter paper and glue to the card.
INSIDE:
I stamped a sentiment and three of the snowflakes like you see on the envelope.
Tools: ½” circle punch, brayer, sticky note, scrap paper, sponge, artist brush

This has to be one of the most adorable cards I've seen. That image is amazing, and the winter scene you created looks amazing. These cards are going to be so much appreciated.

Oh my, how can I resist those bears!! They are totally adorable. When will the euro stop falling against the dollar, sigh...A lovely clean card, I like it!
