This is my card for the TLC challenge to use embossed vellum. This card is absolutely nothing like it started out. It just kept evolving and never in the same direction I was going. LOL I'm not sure it's done yet, but it's time to stop for today.
On a sheet of watercolor paper, I stamped the flowers and colored them with water color pencils.
Next I put a piece of gold vellum through the Cuttlebug and glued it on. I spent a LONG time playing in the button jar looking for the perfect flower centers and tied them on.
Then I added a piece of burlap and put the sentiment - which could be a Mother's Day sentiment - on top. You KNOW I'm just looking for a pat on the back for that one. It needed something, so I glued on the piece of burlap that I cut off the other piece of burlap. Looks pretty good to me. Thanks for looking.

I think this is mighty fine. I love that sentiment and it's perfect for Mother's Day. Great colors too. Have not seen gold vellum. I was afraid to emboss on vellum, but it worked quite will.

Gold vellum, how cool and lovely. Your w/c flowers in the bg are so pretty. Love the buttons you chose for the flower centers. Your burlap is a very nice touch. Awesome card. TFS :0)
