I cranked out about 50-60 of these cards to send out as thank yous to many friends who have helped provide meals, sent flowers, gifts, came by for visits & much more ~ I had foot surgery on 2/12, which had complications so had a second surgery on 3/2. Unfortunately, I'm still not done...yet another (3rd!!) surgery at the end of May to remove the screws that the surgeon put in my foot that my body is rejecting! Who knew a 6-8 wk. recovery would end up being closer to 4 months! Anyway, we had lots of help from friends (I know my husband appreciated it even more!) ~ these people needed a 'special card'!!
The best part about being stuck home & off my feet is how much stamping time I'm getting in! I've made over 200 cards & finished an 86 page Scrapbook for my FIL!!
I've had this set for awhile & thought it fit-the-bill with all the meals that were prepared for us. My inspiration came from Gretchen Barron; this is nearly a full CASE. I changed up some card stock colors, used different ribbon, used the scallop punch more, changed the salutation set & accessories.
