The WT challenge today was to use chipboard. I use it quite often - my favourite way is to colour with ink pads, emboss and then stamp an image while the EP is still hot. But for today, I wanted to use this image from Serendipity Stamps that came this week, and which was sitting coloured on my desk, so I thought the Crackle Paint would suit the feel of the image. I couldn't work the image with the sketch challenge yesterday, but it was great to use today.
5 3/4" base, stamped with Weathered in Versamark and dusted with grey chalk. Image was stamped on watercolour paper and coloured with distress inks. Edges distressed, sponged with green and layered up on Making Memories Poolside and Garden.
Computer-generated sentiment was cut with Nestabilties and sponged. I painted the chipboard flowers with white Crackle Paint and added Sizzlits Little Leaves. I'd have liked yellow Flower Soft for the chipboard centres, but had to make to with yellow acrylic paint.
This is also for MMTPT91, as there are daisies and plenty of petals, but I think my ladybird flew off onto Mutnik's card as she has such a lovely daisy meadow.
I'll be popping this in the post tomorrow to Foxy67.

Girl, this is so pretty. Too bad it couldn't be made under better circumstances. Your little daisy's are so cute and a perfect match for that image. Great job.
