This is my 1,000th card in my gallery! Man, oh man, I just love SCS!
Here's my card for this week's Color Challenge Forums at Splitcoaststampers and this really old 2005 Sketch Challenge Forums at Splitcoaststampers. I'm pretty pleased with this card but totally forgot about Betty's red embellishment for a dessert option on the Color Challenge! What was I thinking?! I'm going to make this card again tonight adding a little dessert. LOL...
I started with a Ballet Blue card base and adhered the Sweet Pea dsp layer. I added the frame with my Mat Pack and Paper Piercer. I stamped the flower images with Basic Black into Whisper White cs and added color to them with my Barely Banana marker. I cut the strip into three squares, layered them on Barely Banana cs and added some rhinestones to their centers. I adhered to the top two squares with Dimensionals to the card. Prior to adding the bottom square, I wrapped with it with a knotted piece of Old Olive Twill Ribbon.
