Stampin B Challenge 56 – can you believe it!!! Nancyruth is today’s hostess and issued a challenge to make a Mother’s Day Card.
Mine is simple, yet I do like it. I had bought a package of embossed cards for a dollar at MichaelÂ’s after Christmas and decided to break one out and try it. Not the heaviest cardstock, but certainly can be used.
I stamped this Hampton Art flower and colored it with prismas and gamsol. A little shading beside it and a sentiment stamp from an unknown company and this CAS card is done. I have several MotherÂ’s Day cards finished and thought a CAS would be suitable for a dear friend.
You know you need to make a card for this special day for mothers, so why not join the StampinBÂ’s and play along??? DonÂ’t forget to link your card back to the blog and put StampinB in your keywords on SCS.
Thanks, Nancyruth. Good challenge!
ETA: After seeing today's challenge to use chipboard, I added a chipboard butterfly. I cannot tell a lie - I have to go for tests and would not have had time to do a card for today's challenge, so this worked out perfectly!

Very pretty, embossed card from Mike's and I like the shading around your flower. Aren't you clever to add the butterfly for the chipboard challenge? Plus, it was just the perfection embellie for the beautiful flower.

I won't call the challenge police, Vicky! This is such a wonderful card. Fantastic shading around the flower and sentiment and I love the addition of the butterfly. Great job!
