I made this for this week's sketch challenge. I just love the inspiration they provide. I attended my son's band concert last night, and their long-term substitute (who has been subbing because the normal teacher just had a baby). She will be leaving the school at the end of the year and all the kids wanted a card to sign and give to her as a thank you. This card was made using pre-embossed paper by core impressions. I hole punched within the pattern randomly and attached the gems so they would sit securely since the card will be handled by at least 35 kids. The back ground / border paper is from a best occasions black and white multi-media set. The star (inkadinkado) and musical notes(petite stamps) are stamped on the pre-embossed paper. The large music note was heat embossed and one was raised with dimensional foam tape. The sentiment, turn up the music is part of a stamp that reads turn up the music and dance, but my son informed me he wasn't sure Mrs. Bruenner could dance...lol...I sure hope Mrs. Bruenner likes it.
