This card is for my friend's son, who recently completed all the requirements for Eagle Scout. His award ceremony is tomorrow and although I have thought about this card for a while, I am only sitting down today to create it. Many ideas streamed through my brain, but in the end, it's for a 17 year old guy. No frills, nothing fancy. This is the end result of my restraint
Creating the nestie panel out of Artichoke gave this card cohesion. I was able to incorporate all the colors I had in mind, and decided to emboss the eagle in silver on pure white so he would stand out. I came across the silver stars in my stash and think they are just right for this look.
I'll also link the inside as I used a SU stencil with Cocoa and a spritz of Artichoke to provide a finished look along with a sentiment.

Wow, great card! Love both the inside & outside--perfect for an Eagle Scout! Love the use of the label nestie as a mat instead of the regular square, and yes, those silver stars *are* perfect!
