This layout was done for VSBN challenge on something that we worked really hard to achieve.
I created these 2 things thinking the floral swag would be cheaper to do on my own..boy, was I mistaken. It cost over $70 to buy the supplies and took me around 10 hours to make. The counted cross stitch piece was the 2nd one made as my SIL coveted my parents'. The 1st one had been a stamped cross stitch kit so to do this one, I had to follow the instructions and chart, get blank Aida cloth and find all the colors of threads that I needed. It took 9 months to complete! I don't think I've done any since and now I can't see things that tiny in order to do it!

Great job on the challenge! I like all the flower elements on your page!
Those are two things I personally would never try! Especially the floral arrangement!

You did an amazing job with two very difficult crafts. That;s a lot of time and effort put into them. Great idea to scrap your hard work. THe paper you used for your page is beautiful. Did you ink the edges of your background paper. It is subtle but adds alittle more dimension to the page.

What a labor of love to do that cross-stitch for your SIL! The layout is beautiful. I really like how the purple paper grounds your layout and contrasts so nicely with the green. TFS.
