This card is part of my homage to the retiring SU colors:-) it was created for two challenges. Curtain Call # 26 color challenge and the PPA39 KISS challenge.
It uses Going Gray, Basic Gray, Whisper White and Crushed Curry.
I stamped the negative image onto Whisper White card stock and then used the positive flower image using Crushed Curry onto a scrap piece of WW and then spritzed the image with Gold Glow SmoochSpritz. I cut them out and popped them using dimensionals.
I matted the image with Basic Grey, Going Grey and Crushed Curry and finished off the card with a half pearl and Basic Gray taffetta ribbon.

I love the absolute simplicity of this. The color combo, the not-so-perfectly shaped blossoms in that gorgeous yellow, the margin widths, and the choice/placement of the half-pearl! I'm so literal, I'd have made the layered petals match the stamped image, never consider anything but a green (whatever you call the structure that holds the petals) and put green leaves on it spoiling the whole effect. Worse, I wouldn't have known why I wasn't crazy about the over-all effect. But I do know what I like when I see it, and I love this! TFS
