I started this card yesterday but wasnÂ’t able to finish until today. IÂ’m using the sketch from Wed. and the ways to use it challenge from Thur. All images are Our Daily Bread designs a new set for April named Happy FatherÂ’s Day.
The toolbox image was stamped tone on tone onto the barn red c/s. The verse was stamped on top with white pigment ink and heat embossed with white ep. To tone the white down a bit, I wiped over the embossing with a little lt brown ink. ItÂ’s cut using a Spellbinders Labels 8. I used the same die to trace the shape onto the tan c/s and hand cut it.
The stripe dp and barn red layer were cut using Label 1 dies. The large tan layer was embossed using a Cuttlebug folder and some (barely visible) lt sand ink was rubbed over the top. I used some redwood ink on the strip of drywall mesh before attaching it with a strip of dp bordered by narrow bands of tan and red c/s. Four faux brads of the red were added as well as a die cut element in the upper left corner (this is from a Spellbinders snowflake set). Everything is attached to a red 5.5 x 4.25 (A2) card.
Thanks so much for looking! Close ups on my blog: The Write Stuff.

Absolutely fabulous Julie!!! Love the colors and the overstamping of the sentiment over the toolbox!
