A big, big CONGRATS to ctorina, a/k/a Cathleen, on being selected Queen For The Day!!! What a great choice in so many ways. Not only does she make the most CLASSY and GORGEOUS cards, but she also leaves wonderful comments and encouragement. A real asset to the SCS site.
I loved the blue and white, but decided to change it to a red and white card. I just happened upon an older SU set that had an image of "Queen for a Day", so I got smart for a change and thought this would be perfect! It will be coming your way Cathleen as soon as I get your addy.
Instead of crimping the white panel, I used an ef and I used the large and small tag punches for the main image. I used a medallion punch for the flowers at the bottom, added another layer to the card and used a border punch at the bottom of the first white panel. The rest is self-explanatory.
I know one of the main features of Cathleen's card was that beautiful silk ribbon. Mine isn't up to par with hers, but I did my best.
ENJOY your special day and week Clazi, my fellow Punchkateer, and you'll be happy to know that I used quite a few punches on your card.
Thanks SO MUCH for taking the time to look. But, better yet, go play the challenge and take a look at Cathleen's SPECTACULAR gallery.
Punchkateer Tally: 5 punches ~ 3x Medallion Punches, 1 Large & 1 Small Tag Punch, and Scallop Trim Border Punch; and Hole Used for Eyelet - doesn't that count????

Pam, this is beautiful and how appropriate that you have a stamp set call Queen for a Day! Perfect, I say!!!! Won't Cathleen be impressed with your punch count, too! Thanks so much for playing, Fruitcake! Your creations always brighten up the gallery with their beauty.

Ooh, Pamzi, this is perfection! Clazi will be so delighted. Love the red and white only and your QFAD image couldn't be better. O.K., I'll be standing at the mailbox waiting for that medallion punch. If you punched that hole with a punch, yes it counts, if not, no! Seriously, your card is a real beauty!!!!

Oh Pamzi, I don't even know where to start! First I must comment on the number of punchez that you used...wow, that is good for at least 25 lbs! And an eyelet hole=1lbs, you used three so that is 3lbs, added to the 25=28!!!!
Your card is just beautiful, I love, love the red and white, and your bow is FABULOUZ! Thank a million for all the sweet comments that you leave on my cards and for letting me be a part of the Punchkateerz!
