My submission for Joyce's Garden Swap has a veggie theme. Details of the swap can be found here: Forums at Splitcoaststampers
My inspiration came from this cutie enjoying her corn. Image came from my PrintMaster program. If you look closely, she's wearing a green and white gingham dress with matching bows in her hair. So of course, she has to have a matching tablecloth.
I made the little ear of corn by stringing seed beads on yellow embroidery thread. I left the extra thread sticking out to simulate the silk of the corn. I added some green thread for the top. I used a piece of rafia to wrap around the corn to look like the husk. It's really tiny - less than one inch. There you have it - now all you have to do is add butter and enjoy. LOL
Fresh and sweet - corn on the cob - Yummy!

Deb, you are the mistress of delightful detailing! I'm continuously amazed at the extra mile you go to make your art pieces so intricate! Love this, and the corn is a fantastic bit of visual interest!
