Hi! This card was made for today's Free 4 All Challenge: Take a Vacation, this week's Stampin' B's Challenge to use yellow, white and soft blue on a card and the Dirty Dozen Challenge to go vintage.
I don't "do" beach vacations in the Caribbean, but my husband does. One year he was working on an island full of resorts. He LOVED it! He went to one meeting and then spent the week on the beach, diving, and in the spa. I'm so glad he considered that his vacation, because Markie and I went to DISNEY World and had the BEST BIRTHDAY of my LIFE! And, it was JUST US! How fun, to have that memory! However, the entire time, we were reminded that "Dad" was in the islands. Disney is full scenic overlooks and surrounded by Palm Trees. Oh, did I mention we live in FLORIDA??? 8 minutes from the beach? It's not like we don't see palm trees all the time...Like in our YARD! LOL
The scene was made by stamping the tree once and offstamping it twice. Next, I used a mask to sponge in the sun. The sand dune was sponged in as well as the ocean and sky.
Finished size: 5" square
Total time to complete: 34 minutes.

Faith, you created a beautiful scene on your card... and a triple challenge to boot! This is really a pretty card. I can relate about the palm trees - Phoenix has them everywhere, and we're not near ANY beaches (LOL!!). TFS!
