This was done for a special publication request and then they ended up not taking it, probably because it was not a card. I think they were wanting cards. Oops, my bad! Oh well.
The frame is from Walmart and was only about $6 and the mat inside the frame is about 1/4" thick so buttons and stuff can be inside and completely under the glass, which appealed to my crafty sense right away. I had to go back and get some more.
I used reinkers and a waterbrush to color the image.

This is beautiful, they should have taken it, but in the end, all of us won because not only did we get to see your beautiful creation, WE GOT THE TUTORIAL!!!! And that rocks! I got this in my email this morning and read the whole thing, wow, thanks so much for listing the details and the tips, it is going to take my watercoloring to a whole new level (I hope) because now I now how to try to acheive what is in my minds eye, so I really appriciated this more than you know! You should have won, it's perfect!

Don't know why they didn't take it, because it's just lovely. You did a fabulous job framing it! I will have to go to your blog and check out the tutorial. I would love to watercolor like you. TFS
