This card was made for four challenges: Color Combo: Sage, apricot, grey and lace; Teapot Challenge: Too Tall Tony's ride...I'm hitching with Speedy the Cat's Chickadee buddy; Stampin' B's Challenge: to use a sun and uplifting message; and the DD challenge to go Vintage.
I wanted to get to the races, a week early, and we were challenged to get there by horse, (or any other critter), train, plane, or just to dress up for the event! Speedy the Cat and I will travel in style this year, with help from our friend, Mr. Chickadee. He knew W.C. Fields, and Mae West and was in the movie, but, shhhhh...that's another story! Anyway, we have to get packed. For this week's trip, Speedy the Cat is HELPING me pack! Go figure!
The background was sponged in with several Palette Ink colors to get this Sage. I sponged in Palette Nude Ink, (no teapotters, I was not in the NUDE! I wear my jammies of choice while stamping-DC Comics!), and I stamped the ferns in Nick Bantock's Charcoal. The lace part: punches and Spellbinders dies cut down.
I sponged in Adirondack Espresso for the edges and the sponging on Mr. Chickadee.
Finished Size: 5" square
Total Time: 57 minutes. (I had to take Kittie Kat out, TWICE!!!!)

I do love the way you shade your images, Faith. Lovely!

Do you sleep? If so, I bet the creative side of your brain never stops working. This is one perfect card. I do wonder though what your jammies of choice might look like.
