This pear has been sitting around waiting for an opportunity to be used for a long time. It's acryclic paint, brushed very thinly on a solid stamp, then stamped on paper. I used several different colors of paint to acheive the look. (Made several of them for a swap, and this was left over.) It worked perfectly for this week's Inspiration challenge -- the Crate Label Museum. Fruit is one of my favorite subjects, so this was a fun one for me. Inspiration: http://cratelabelmuseum.com/pic.php?id=3833. Chipboard was sanded and sponged with chalk inks. I mixed ribbon and raffia in the button to give it more of a country feel.
This week's technique challenge is to add piercing, which worked well in the corners of this piece
