This actually was the first FS card I made but I wasn't sure I liked it enough to post it. It is kind of growing (no pun intended) on me.... This is a case of two of Dara's cards:
Morning Soft Kitchen: FS167 Dahlias for Dara by hskelly at Splitcoaststampers
and her Song Birds from her IC album: IC164- song birds by Dara at Splitcoaststampers
I liked the grass in front of the bird and daisies in one and the beautiful main panel of flowers in the other so I combined them. I stamped the flower image onto Fabriano paper and used the Peerless Watercolors to paint the image.
Then I masked the flowers and used the grass image from Inspired by Nature, painted it with a SU! marker and over stamped the flowers. I finished by painting in blue for the sky and a sentiment from PaperTrey.
