One of my neighbours is a carpenter, and he gave me some veneer leftovers to use for stamping. This was my first attempt to use them. I stamped the image with StazOn Jet Black onto the veneer, then tore the image (my cutting machine was not able to cut it exactly, so I preferred to tear it).
What do you think about stamping on wood?

A friend just gave me an ATC made from wood veneer. The texture is so neat! More interesting than just a wood grain paper. Yours looks great against the dark background. Nice card!

It looks very effective. I am always trying to get DH to give me an old marquetry set he hasn't used yet, so I could use the wood veneer myself. After seeing this, I'll try harder .

Your card is so neat Christiane!!! I think stamping on wood is a very cool idea. I was just asking a friend if she stamped on anything other than paper. Funny too, to see this stamp. I was just looking through a drawer and pulled this stamp out. I didn't actually use it, but it caused me to think of you. I remembered you had it. :>)
