Hi! This card was made for today's Inspiration Challenge: Crate Museum, this week's Stampin' B's Challenge to use a SUN (flower) and an encouraging sentiment, and the Dirty Dozen Challenge: Vintage Cards.
When I saw this challenge I laughed, because eons ago I bought a CD that had all of these Crate Labels on it! However, I can't find it now, as I've cleaned my office! LOL I found THIS LABEL and I knew I could work with it!
I sponged on Nick Bantock inks to create the background. Next, I stamped the sentiment and the flourish in Lamp Black. I used an Inkssentials pen to add a bit of highlights to the flourishes. (These came from the new set: Butterflies, Dianthus and Flourishes.) Next, I stamped the sunflower in Lamp Black and colored it in with Memento Markers. I cut it out and then stamped the LEAVES from the Blackberries twice, colored them and cut them out. I sponged all the cut pieces with Adirondack Espresso. I used a butter knife to distress the edges of the Hazelnut Tan, and then sponged on Espresso.
Finished card size: 5 1/2" x 4 1/4"
Total time to complete: 44 minutes

Hi Faith! When I looked at this site, I was wishing I had the MFP sunflower!!! This is just gorgeous! Cool to see your Faith dots again too. The charm is adorable. Fantastic work.

Really cool looking card! The sunflower is colored so well! I like your blue and black background! I am a nut about distressed edges! Very pretty result!
