Hello! This card was made for today's Ways to Use It Challenge: I'm Late!
In honor of April 15, the deadline date that TAXES MUST filed in the USA, we were to make a card that shows the Passage of Time. I decided to combine this challenge with the Stampin' B's Challenge to use a sun and encouranging sentiment on a card!
I totally forgot to make a card for my father's minister. He has been called to serve at another church, and is leaving soon. This is actually a blessing for him, as he was just an interim pastor, so this is wonderful for his family.
I used this new set: Take the Time and Father's Day. There is a bit of a back story to the "grasses" on the card. They were stamped in Adirondack Espresso with the Pine Cone stamp in this new set! I love to use stamps in other ways, don't you?
Finished card size: 5" Square
Total time to complete: 29 minutes

What a super idea to use that pine cone for grasses. Looks perfect. And, the sun is so cheerful and bright for this tax day. Love it!!! Good job on all challenges.
