Hi! This card was made for today's Color Combination Challenge: Ruby, Coral, Blush and a brown- I used Hazelnut Tan AND....for today's Teapot Tuesday Challenge: A Tuesday Teapost for the one with the MOST....Okay...it's in my honor! Can you believe that??? And, it's about Speedy the Cat! I swear, I got a PM from Schirmcat (Kelly) with the link to the challenge. I WOKE UP THE HOUSE laughing! Speedy the Cat was on my lap and gave me REALLY dirty looks! LOL
Today's Teapot challenge is about how I want Speedy the Cat to go to Orlando to take a watercolor landscape class from Kittie Caracciolo. Then, when he's gone, all the teapotters are going to head on over to my house to drink tea in my kitchen. However, Speedy the Cat fiddled around and missed the bus to Orlando. (Besides, it was a GREYHOUND...Speedy the Cat does NOT like Greyhounds! They don't like tea!heeheehee) So, he decided to call upon his favorite butterfly friend to FLY him to Orlando in style! Heck, it was only a 1 hour flight from Jacksonville!
This set is BRAND NEW! It's called Spring Breeze. The Speedy the Cat image is even in that set. Actually, it's in EVERY set from Mark's Finest Papers...It's the Water Mark Stamp! I sponged in Nude for the Blush and stamped the images in Burnt Umber. I used several Memento pens to create the ruby and coral colors on the butterfly. I sponged on Moulin Rouge for the blooms.
Finished card size: 5" square
Total time to create: about 45 minutes.

EEEEEEEEEEEEK! This is the PERFECT way to get Speedy outta the house! First Class on a GORGEOUS butterfly! I am pretty sure that he made this at Kittie's session, look at that wonderful scene! Boy's got talent! He exceeded my wildest expectations at that class. You get double extra credit points for using Betty's color challenge, toooo! Congratulations, Faith! Are you up to 99,999 yet (wink)!
