I had a lot of errands to do this morning, so I went for something very quick and very simple. I was done in 15 minutes. Quick for me, lol. My spring tree card is based on this photo. The CAS62 challenge is to be inspired by Mackinac Island, Michigan Postcards . I saw the pretty tree along the street and quickly thought of the spring tree from this set.
I tried taking about 100 photos this morning and nothing would turn out, Ok it could just be me...so I ended up making an envelope which I never do, to go with my card. then I tried a few more photo's, nothing again. I then decided to make a card for each season, still not a good photo. I gave up at 10am, went and ran my errands. I'm home and still couldn't get a good photo... I'm not sure what the deal is, but I'm uploading anyway, it is better than most. I'm off to try to make a box for my cute little set of note cards.
finished card size is 3 5/8 x 4 5/8
Thanks for looking and if you read it, thanks for listening to me whine yet again, lol

This is a fun and cheery set of notecards. I like the clean design and that it is so versatile. Thanks for including the finished size too. I always enjoy reading stories about how a card (photo, envelope, etc.) came about (or didn't) because it happens often to me.

Great job on this Mackinac challenge, Irene--this set is SO sweet!! I just love what you did with these. What a great gift these would make. I love seeing the whole set together--I like that each card is a different color to go with its season. I can understand your frustration with the photo-taking. Some days are like that, aren't they?? No worries about "whining"--I think we can all relate :) Hang in there!!
