After months of talking about it, my sister and I finally picked a night to get together and make some cards. She arrived, we made tea, commented on the miserable wind that evening and headed into my "Rubber Room". Hadn't even managed to pick our cardstock and the power went out!! For four hours. Not to be deterred by a lack of light and the awful sounds of what became a raging blizzard outside, we got out some candles and set to the task at hand. We were pleasantly surprised that our paper/cardstock/ink and cards all looked pretty decent when we could actually see them.
So, here are my "cards by candlelight"...
Another unabashed CASE. I loved this card by Marsha Drain and hardly changed anything but the papers.
Thanks for stopping by!

Really pretty! I've always loved Taken with Teal....will miss it. How wonderful that you got to do these cards with your sister during a blizzard...a night to remember for lots of reasons! TFS,
Kathy

First of all Diz, I LOVE the teal colors and that dsp is to die for. Second of all, I so LOVE the idea of using those embossed borders this way whether you cased or not and those dew drops are the perfect topper. Better yet, you used 3 puncheZ to create this beauty. You are WAY good and WAY skinny by now my friend!! You and your sister need to make cards by candlelight more often. They turned out BEAUTIFUL!!! Hugz Diz!!

What a coincidence - I used these same ef and nesties this weekend while working on wedding invitations for my sister. I'm not finished with them yet, but will post them sometime for you to see.
This card is so cheery. Love those dew drops. The inside looks beautiful too.

Another beauty made by candlelight!!! Too fun Gorgeous colors and look at workout you got with your punchez. I just love the peek of the MS deco fan punch I can see on the inside. I've got that one, too, and just love it!! Keep on punchin' around the clock

How special a story! Our power was out too, for 15 hours... didn't get a single card made. I love the teal and yellow and the embossed strips are so pretty.

Love this case, Heather. Just gorgeous with the beautiful cb embossing. The paper is awesome. I am surprised Pam is not asking for proof of those inside punches. LOL Now, go stand by the mailbox.
