Woo Hoo Pat, again I get to visit your gallery and pick one of your wonderful cards to case. I can't believe you weren't chosen before this with your incredible talent. I enjoyed doing a card in your honor for the Queen For The Day challenge, but was disappointed I didn't get to case one of your famous masculine creations. So, I took the plunge today.
Everything about this card is masterfully done by Pat, so I didn't change up a whole lot. I used same color combo and theme, but used a different image, b/g, added some stars, a different stamped b/g and added paper piercing.
I'm not real experienced with doing scenic cards, although it's definitely on my "want to learn" list of things, so I took this opportunity to work on mine a little. It doesn't compare to the depth and beauty of Pat's coloring, but I'll get there one day. And, low and behold Pat, I have that watercolor minis stamp set that I used for the scenery!! I also used Lovely as a Tree for the b/g trees after masking the horse.
I stamped the horse twice and popped the 2nd one up on dimensionals. I used a distressing tool on the rust panels and embossed the punches with the mesh ef. The image and main image panel are popped up on dimensionals.
I like the way this turned out Pat and I know my Uncle in England will LOVE this as he is a big horse fan! Thanks for your incredible INSPIRATION!
Thanks for taking the time to visit and enjoy your Sunday evening. Pat, enjoy your special day and week!!
Punchkateers Tally: 3 Punches (the large star is in in the inside of the card); however, 2 of the punches used twice, so doesn't that count too. That would make it a total of 5 punches!! Losing that weight quickly over here with all that punching exercize!!!
EDIT: Punchkateerz, I forgot I used the rope border punch on the inside of the card!! Yippee, that's an EXTRA Punch!!

Ride 'em cowboy! Wait, there is no cowboy. Pamz, what an awesome scene you've created. I don't think I've ever seen you do a horse before but what a
galloping job you've done. Love your rusts, mesh-look, stars, brads...it is all super. Hope you noticed I did my punch tally for you. Pat is going to love this card to bits.
