IÂ’m so happy that my taxes are done and I can finally play with my Canada Day stamp set. IÂ’m a Canadian who lives in the United States, so I really appreciate all things Canadian being away from home. If you are a Canadian living in the US like me, you can order this set from an American demo (item# 120042 for Clear Mount Canada Day). The Americans have a similar set in their mini catalog called July Fourth.
I wanted to make an accurate-as-possible Canadian flag using the maple leaf from this set. Here are some of the rules for making a Canadian flag:
- the length of the flag is twice its height (I used 4” x 2” whisper white)
- the red stripes on the flag comprise 1/4 of the length of the flag each (I used 2 strips of 1” x 2” real red)
- the white in the center where the maple leaf resides is a square (with the two red strips on either side taken care of, the leftover center is a 2” x 2” white square)
- the maple leaf is an eleven point red maple leaf centered in the white square (hooray for StampinÂ’ Up! for making the maple leaf eleven points... perfect for the flag... center using a Stamp-a-ma-jig)
Happy Early Canada Day to all my Canadian friends!!!!

If anyone wants to order the Canada Day set and lives in the US, here are the item numbers:
Canada Day (available until Aug 31, 2010)
Wood Mount 119889 $18.95 in US dollars
Clear Mount 120042 $14.95 in US dollars
Just give your demo the item number and she should be able to order it (until Aug 31, 2010 when the mini catalog expires). I'm a Canadian, but I live in the US and have a US demoship. I ordered it and so can you. Just tell your demo if she is not willing to see if it works, I would be more than happy to. I don't want to take away anyone's business, but a girl's got to have her Canada sets, especially if she lives far away from her "home and native land."

HI.....In your post, I didn't quite understand where you could order this stamp set.
Would you please send me some info as to where I can send for this Canadian stamp set? I have a few Canadian friends, and would love to have a stamp set like this for that purpose.
