1. I was fortunate to be asked to host this week's SCS Featured Stamper Challenge and am pleased to feature Pat Smethers! Pat you have such a wonderful style, one that we all have grown to love!
2. I used The Man from Wild Wild West on my card in honor of Pat and her wonderful, amazing Western cards! My Evergreen Trees are from Rubbernecker Stamps and are my very favorite pine trees!
3. It was Pat Smethers and Shirley (Wannabcre8tive) who put an end to my search for WWW and the reason I actually own this stamp set. They organized a birthday surprise for me last year. I would like to take this opportunity to once again thank Shirley and Pat and all of the wonderful stampers that chipped in and purchased my very cherished Wild Wild West Stamp Set for me for my birthday last year! I love you all!!
I so enjoyed making this card for Pat with my very own WWW set! You even inspired me to try a technique (Yikes!), a Side Step Card! Congrats Pat! You rock! Do you remember when you sent me the fencing on my card???
Edit: The instructions for this Side Step Card can be found in a recent Technique Challenge here.

Mudder, Mudder....look how purdy you made Da MAN! Ai yi yi- gorgeous, ain't he? Cindy, no one makes magic with this man like you! And yep, I shore do remember dat fence! Lol- probably two years old by now. Side Step, that's some challenge, ain't it? It was the only one I will make! Lol. What you have done is fabulous. The scene is remarkable, and I just know he's a comin' home to you!
I laugh to think back about your bd surprise. That thar was Shirt's ider! She got good iders, huh? I don't think I was ever as excited as the day I finally won that set on EBay! 'Cept for maybe the day you opened your package and called me laughing, and crying (and driving around in circles, lost in the parking lot!) There's 42,000 people to thank for gittin' that set for you, and I love every one of them!
Thanks for your encouragement and inspiration everyday. Hugs-n-Snugs Mudder! XOXOXO

Geez, those trees, that fence, the hunk - what a great card. And a technique on top of all that! You sure know how to make a treat for the eyes. How wonderful you chose Pat for the featured stamper - she is so deserving!! Her gallery is really an inspiration and so are you.
