I decided to use this layout for a Father's Day card. Never too early to try to get ahead of the game in my book since I always seem to be running behind.
I changed the theme to a nautical one and changed the 1st panel b/g ef to circles and the second panel b/g with the SU Weathered stamp. I added a Hero Arts greeting.
I was going to stay monochromatic, but thought that little pop of subtle blue added some interest. I also stamped the sails on the sailboat twice and popped up one set on dimensionals for depth.
I paper pierced several panels and used the faux stitch technique since I don't have a sewing machine and LOVE sewing on cards. ~Did you catch that one Benz who still owes me a fully operational sewing machine~!
I think that about does it. Linda, your gallery is fabulous and I hope you so enjoy your special day and week!
Thanks for taking a look and have a wonderful weekend!
Punch Tally for Punchkateerz: Yikes, only used the rectangular nesties on this one. I'll try harder on the next one. Didn't lose much weight on this card. Guess I better not pig out tonight!!

Pamzi...this is down right GORGEOUSZI!!!! I appoint myself spokesperson for the Punchkateers and you are forgiven for only using one nestie...this is just to spectacular to admonish you for not using more punches..lol This is just fabulous. You are right about using just a hint of blue...it really sets off the image to perfection...and I love the drift wood punch. The rope was a piece of genius. WOW awesome card. I love it!!!!!

Love this card! Great layout, nice balance, and you could have fooled me on the faux stitches, from here it looks like a real seam! The blue is the perfect tiny hit of color!

Okay, so your punch crazy girlz think you loose weight pushing a punch or two? Whatever. Your card is really wonderful. Your faux stitchig is very impressive I must say. Who needs a sewing machine when you can faus stitch like this? did you catch that one, Benzi? So, like, how many father's day cards do I have to look forward to? It's only April, so I imagine you'll knock yourself out with all the FD cards you can make.

WOW - that's one awesome card! Love your faux stitching, the touch of blue and the knotted line - it really gives it a nautical flair. Right into my faves!

Well, Pam, I have to admit this is gorgeous. I love your sailboat and that awesome weathered bg. I need that almost as much as a new punch. Your card is so perfect that I have to brag on it even after noticing again today you are trying to oust me from punch prez and put Carol in that position. Ouch! You are driving nails through my heart. I love your wonderful Father's Day card just the same. Now, go feel bad. LOL Yes, Anne, I saw that faux stitching. What are we going to do with Pamz?

Oooh Pamzi... It's wunnerful! So mannish! Only one nestie, eh?!? Almost needed to use a "get out of jail free" card for lack of punches... But as founding Punchkateers, we have access to those. Anyway, Prez Benzi and Spokezperson Bearzi both agree with me that this is a mighty fine card in all its punchless (good thing we count die-cuts) glory. Still pokin' holes and drawing little lines and calling it stitching I see. Glad to see a new card up - I'm way behind seeing what else is in the gallery tho'. I'm so far behind I think I'm winning tho'! Hugz my Pal...
