this is my card for the friday free for all challenge. today our hostess, wendy challenged us to make a quilt out of our scraps.
I have been wanting to try the technique where you use the top note die. So this challenge was the perfect opportunity.
I am not a quilter so this is the only quilt I will ever make-another first for me (lol)!!
I used scraps from the su ginger blossom dsp(retired).
I cut the tip off the bottom in the big shot machine. So I decided to add photo corners on all 4 sides to cover the bottom mistake.
The corners are from the just delightful simply scrappin kit.
I cut my thank you sentiment with nesties labels 2 die. That's my card for today.

Beautiful work, Mary!! This is outstanding. I just love how you pieced together your pretty bits of DP and then cutting them into the top note die looks GORGEOUS!! I love your addition of those great photo corners--who knew it was covering a mistake? I think they are a great design element Super duper colors in this, too. Love it!!!!
